About diabetic foot paralysis and parathesia?

can diabetes cause paralysis? if it can, would you see abnormal nerve conduction results when tested w/ leg electrodes? my electroconduction test were low and poor conduction but my blood flow and pulse and bp in my feet are conventional. so, do diabetic feet have poor circulation? poor bp, b/c mine did not. any info greatly greatly greatly appreciated!

Diabetic neuropathy is primarily a sensory neuropathy (burning feet, numbness etc.). Less commonly it can create weakness due to involvement of motor nerves, usually in a fairly acute and dramatic cult (called diabetic amyotrophy). These conditions can be evaluated with EMG studies.
