For a work within prescription?
Hey, I'm 17 and applying to university this year. So far, I'm applying to lots of Health Sciences programs, but I'm just wondering for the long run... I've heard it's hard, but how difficult is it really to capture accepted + survive through Med school?? What attributes, and grades do they look for? I've heard a bunch of society don't even get noticed unless they have a masters... that true? =) any direction would be greatlyy appreciated.

MCAT exam isnt ..the individual thing...I have had family score in the 40s and still not accepted..your grades ., your involvement...volunteering ..extracurricular within college . Your interest and how it developed. It is a stressful process. Gluck
Look at the individual programs you think you might want to be going to and make sure you take everything to come together the requirements. I would say most do not have master's degrees. You stipulation to have good grades and show that you have taken courses that face you and that you did well because med school just keep through things at you and doesn't stop. You also can't really drop classes in med school so they will look to see if you dropped a lot of classes. Your MCAT is meaningful, but definitely not everything-still want to make sure you study and prepare for that. Be involved (a variety of things is good-show you are okay rounded)-they want to see that you are a normal person that can interact with others. Also bring medical experience--volunteer shadowing a doctor or be a CNA and get paid experience. Med school is so competitive now-if you don't enjoy experience, they don't want to take you because they want to be sure medicine is what you want to do since they have to turn away so masses people.
