If a creature say they don't want to be resuscitated and afterwards they become comatose do you make cpr?

if you have your first aid certificate and you come across some accident and the entity is alert and they say to you if anything happens they don't want to be revived. they become unconscious so do you do cpr?
Answers:
If the are DNR(do not resuscitate) then no. DNR general public are very serious about the decision they own made. You could try checking there wallet and seeing if it has a card or anything stating so. Otherwise there's a good randomness that they aren't in the right state of mind at the moment they say that. However if a person have a DNR order and prove it shows they thought about this when the were mentally adjectives there.
you must be CPR certified, not only just a first aid cert

and usually, that document has to be written -signed - and witnessed

I would do everything in my power to help them live
I will recover that higher decision for someone at the hospital

all the best

what they don't make clear to you - 80% of the time you do CPR - it's on a family member *sigh*
I agree......a DNR personality is a person who does not want to be revived under life-threatening circumstances. It is a wish that should be honored.
It's a wish that SHOULD be honored but frequently isn't, if there is any relative that say otherwise.

You know why? Dead people don't sue, but their living relatives do.

Sad but true. If you have strong feelings around this, make sure your family has it drilled into them what you want. Source(s): Seen it.
you would be protected below the good Samaritan law. if you were a condition care professional and you did cpr then you could be sued. i was told once you start cpr you can't stop unless you are relieved or you are exhausted.
