What are the contraindications of glutathion?
Answers:
I have searched the medical literature and there appear to be no specified contraindications. In contrast to the other answer, I would suggest that Acetominophen (Tylenol), alcohol and some pesticides "increase the requirements" for glutathione.
Best wishes and good luck.
People with kidney or liver disease should consult their doctor before taking supplementary glutathione.
No stated contraindications Except for use during some forms of chemotherapy and radiation where on earth antioxidants like glutathione are contraindicated due to their inhibition of the free radical formation which is an intentional part of the healing mechanism. Source(s): PG medical biochemistry
There are none, however acetaminophen (Tylenol) and alcohol may decrease the effects of glutathione. Source(s): Lexi-Comp
