What other affliction prescription is comparable to Oxycontin? -Dilaudid, oxymorphone, etc...?

I am currently prescribed Oxycontin 20mg, three times daily. It works great for pain management, and near are no physical side effects. I asked my doctor, a couple of years ago, to reduce my dosage from OC 40's to 20's so that I would not have to deal beside any euphoria. However, currently my girlfriend thinks my medicine affects my personality, so logically she wants me to change my pain tablets. I do not know a lot about all the different types of aching medicines, except what I have been on: Hydrocodone, Percadan, and Oxycontin. Also, I cannot pocket Morphine or Demerol. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know, it will be most appreciated!! If anyone has any luck, and at adjectives possible, try to explain different doses that are comparable or equivalent.

You're in tough shape, then. The only item roughly equivalent to OxyContin is MS-Contin, and that's morphine. The only other thing even remotely close would be methadone.
