What is principle of receptor agonist?
Answers:
Agonist are natural chemicals or drugs that activate the receptor and produce a cellular response.
The receptor activation is graded response to:-
– Full agonists induce a maximal response when adjectives receptors are occupied (i.e. the response the tissue would have made to its natural ligand)
– Partial agonists produce a sub-maximal response even when adjectives receptors are occupied

An agonist is an agent that binds to a receptor and causes a response to occur. It's as simple as that. The agonist can be the inherently occurring agent, or a synthetic drug. It differs from an antagonist in that an antagonist will also bind to the receptor but will NOT cause any response.
