What are the reason for the adjectives values of heart rate and blood pressure between lying to standing?

When a person is lying down, their pressure is generally lower than when they are standing. I know that blood pressure initially drops when a person stands but next it gets higher then the appeal recorded when a person is lying down - why? - Thanks.

I'm guessing it could be that when you're standing, only your foot come into contact with the ground, thus greater pressure over a smaller surface area/base, in contrast with lying down which have much more area spread out...not sure though...
The incredibly simple answer (I'll bet you wish you'd thought about it first) is gravity. The heart must work harder to pump the blood above the heart. Laying down, and the pressure surrounded by the hoses is very low...its all on the level. Standing up? The heart must push the blood upward posterior to the heart for circulation.

If you have a hose pipe, the pressure in the hose when you hold it downward is pretty low. If you want the same amount of hose down to come out the hose when you hold it up, you need to squeeze and increase the pressure.

Your blood is distributed differently when you are laying down than when you stand up. When you 1st stand up, the blood pressure drops because you be just pumping hard enough to protract the blood pressure where it was. This low pressure activates the baroreceptors surrounded by the carotids and increases the sympathetic innervation (from your autonomic nervous system) to increase the blood pressure so your brain can get enough blood to remain functional and conscious. When you stay standing, the pressure desires to remain at a higher level to keep the blood going to your brain and not adjectives pooling in your legs. Source(s): physiology course
It takes more force to pump blood up to your brain when you're standing because your head is so much superior than your heart is.
