Can Prozac build me worse?
I've been taking 40 mgs for a few years now and I recently concluded up back in the hospital where they increased it to 60mgs. I haven't feel good the past week, my stomach hurts/nauseous and just feel very tired and blah. The past couple days i've always be feeling MORE depressed and having the suicidal thoughts return. Could this be caused by the increase surrounded by Prozac? Or am I just getting sick and going back into a depression?
Answers:
You better get to the doctor or mental hosp. asap. Prozac is specified to increase suicidal thoughts. The nausea etc. can also be side effects. If you have a 24 hr # call now and own your doc. or whoever is on call paged. There are tons of other meds they can try. They might put you back on your frail dose and add something else. Make sure you are not alone.
Off to the doctor with you! Prozac might not be the right "medicine" for you, or you've completly desensitized yourself to the drug so EITHER you find another alternative way to contract with your depression. or upgrade and get an even more potent solution that you will eventually be immune to as well Source(s): according to gandalf
