Is Roaccutane one of the most dodgy prescription drugs?
Answers:
Not unless you're a female and get pregnant. Roaccutane is Roche's brand name for isotretinoin, a drug used to treat acne. Unfortunately it is also a powerful teratogen, so if you procure pregnant while taking it, your child will likely have severe birth defects--thus why the drug has word labels and restrictions. One of the most? No. Its for acne. Any medication taken incorrectly or in excess can be dangerous some are more so than other e.g. anthracyclines are basically inherently bad for your heart. If you got it on prescription and take it similar to the inside leaflet says then you should be fine, remember to discontinue use at the sign of any adverse side effects and report them to your broad practioner.
