What's the best method to dispose of elderly pharmicutical drugs?
Someone said not to flush them cuz it will end up in the drinking water.

Incinerate
Don't flush them. Anywhere. Fish are in a minute coming back containing some medications in their cell.
Grind or smash them and place them in your garbage, mixed with coffee grounds or kitty litter.

alternatively hand them in to a pharmacy at lowest possible in some first world countries that have a decent program
You can always mix them with used kitty litter- that will stop someone from taking them (I hope). There be a memo recently also to mix them with used coffee grounds up to that time discarding them. You can also wrap them up & insert in the red plastic needle disposal containers & turn them in to be burned. Source(s): NJ RN
