I would similar to to become a doctor, but do you suggest I do it?
When I was growing up I always thought I'd love to be a doctor. I've always have an interest in it, now I'm considering pharmacy too. I've worked hard to go and get through college and make good grades in the prerequisite classes. I'm surrounded by my 20s, I have a daughter who I had when I was elevated school, her father isn't in the picture at all. My daughter have Cystic Fibrosis and needs a lot of care, I've other been very close and devoted to her. Preferably I'd like to jump to medical school and I do know a lot about drug from my daughter's condition and the time she's had to spend in hospital. I just don't want to enjoy to sacrifice her care because she really depends on me. What do you suggest I do? Does anyone have experience with medical academy?
Answers:
I have experience with both medical school and single paternity, but not with a disabled child.
Medical school is very time consuming, but it is an investment. As a physician, you hold the means to better care for your child, and you also make like mad of contacts that can help you with her care. If you hold support of family and friends, and the ability to make it into med university, I'd suggest you go for it.
I have always wondered if I'd enjoy been a better mom without going to med school, or a better med student minus having a baby/toddler to care for, but the benefits now that I'm through college and residency are well worth it.
Pharmacy is also a great field, and requires less schooling. If you construe you'd be happy as a pharmacist, it's certainly a viable choice.
Best of luck with anything you choose.
