Don't use any sleeping pills without a doctor's directions. Consult your doctor for best results for good deep sleep.

If you have not been prescribed Valium by a physician afterwards you should not take it. Only a doctor can make a proper assessment as to what will not harm you.
Please do not ask further question about taking medication that has not been prescribed to you. It's bent.
If you need help sleeping see a doctor. If you want to pass out for several days see a psychiatrist and win some counseling please.
Valium has a really long half-life and takes about 8 days for the body to completely eliminate it. If you necessitate to sleep only at night for 4 or 5 days, doxylamine succinate is a potent over-the-counter sleep aid which at 25mg is very successful most of the time. This is twice the amount as surrounded by a dose of Nyquil. This sleep aid is less common but can be found in most any pharmacy, but it will require reading the label to find out what the active ingredients are. Things like Simply Sleep and Unisom Gels do not use this ingredient. Check with the pharmacist if you cannot find it and they can show you be it is.
To me, Valium only seems like it would be adjectives if you are needing to sleep day and night for 4 to 5 days unless your doctor have prescribed Valium for a severe sleep disorder. For someone who is has not taken Valium before, 10mg seems close to a rather high dose. Of course you should do what your doctor tells you, but if you own not obtained the prescription for Valium yet, doxylamine succinate is a very fitting option that you should look into.
