I'm considering becoming a doctor, and I was wondering if you could answer these questions:

Answers:
I am a nurse and i do not regret it for a minute. I love to relieve others and it is very rewarding to see them become healthy. It is a very stable work full of opportunities.My least favorite thing nearly my job is waking up at 5am. I would def. suggest this career trail to someone esp in this economy.. a big plus is i work per diem am home alot w/ kids and get compensated big bucks!
I am not a nurse but am a Medical Assistant- working on becoming a physician assistant. I do not regret going into this profession. I love my living. I love being able to assist in the patients trouble, being there for patients when they just stipulation someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on. I don't have a least favorite point in my job. I would suggest the health profession to anyone. But within is one thing- if you don't have a passion for it and just going into the profession for the money, you will not similar to it. You really need to have the passion.
Do you regret becoming a doctor/nurse?
Never regretted it. It was a huge investment of time, money and life, but worthwhile if it's what you're meant to do.

What is your penchant thing about your job?
Spinals. I of late love sticking large needles into spines, and it's SO amazing how they get totally numb with of late a small amount of medication in the right place. It's like magic.

What is your lowest favourite thing about your situation?
Sputum.

Would you ever suggest this career to someone?
If you're meant to do it, I couldn't keep you from it. If you're not designed to do it, you won't get very far, because of the amount of effort that's required. Source(s): I'm an anesthesiologist.
