My friends take medication?

has being taking carbamazepine tablets for 5 yrs is it bad for her could that affect her ?
Answers:
Your friend must enjoy a medical reason to take this drug, which is primarily used as an anticonvulsant. As long as she is taking the proper dosage & is being monitored by her MD, here should not be a problem. There are of course many side effects (like drowsiness) but they can be eliminated if they crop up by decreasing the dosage or switching to another med. These drugs are not "bad" for they usually help people with valid medical conditions function generally. Source(s): NJ RN
Yes it could. Taking them for a long time could affect her sight and make her more tired or agitated than usual. Source(s): http://bipolar.in the region of.com/cs/sfx/a/sfx_te…
