Why did the sleeping pill WAKE me up?
The other night I only slept half an hour later I had to go for my 10 hour work day. My position is emotionally, mentally and physically demanding and I thought I was going to pass out that day from sleep deprivation.
I bought sleep-eze closing night and took one around 9:00 (hoping to be asleep for 10:30 because I have to get up at 6:30). They did not work. I wasn't tired at adjectives, and if anything they made me more awake. I was furious this morning after only getting 3 hours sleep.
Is this common? What happen?
Thanks for the information.

Sleep-eze is not a strong sleeping pill by any means, which is why you weren't affected. You were also probably anxious around getting off to sleep & kept looking at the clock, wondering how much sleep you'd get (I've done THAT). If this gets to be a problem, see your MD for a mild med to facilitate you sleep, but only when you really need it. Source(s): NJ RN
Many drugs cause paradoxical reaction for some people, meaning that we have reaction to them that are opposite of what they were intended to do. However, drugs come in different "classes", aim that they use different methods of accomplishing the same thing, so a drug of a different class might work better.
A doctor should know how to help you find something that will work correctly for you.
