Answers:
Let me ask you by what your GPA is?
3.8 - 4+ and BIO, BIOCHEM, SCIENCE most important = Medical school
3.2 - 3.8 and BIO, BIOCHEM, SCIENCE major = Dental School
3.0 or below or Dont like college = Medic School
3.2 - 3.5 and some science courses = Nursing School

Now EMT-P within a big city, you will need to be a FF also. Firefighter is trained as a EMT-1 and you will need to be trained as a EMT - Paramedic. Once you have FF/PM, would will still be paid over 100K. and GIRLS love you!! Trust me.
Robert is right for the most part about the salaries, but Dentists brand far more than 100 thousand, and some can make a killing at over 500,000 a year depending on specialty or how big their practice gets.

Doctors: Tons of schooling; more than a Dentist and WAY more than a Paramedic. It's a drastically long road; most doctors do not practice on their own and become "attendings" until after (an average) of twelve years training. However, the pay is amazing, and the lifestyle all depends on specialty. However, the reputation is great and it is rewarding.

Dentists: Dentists are trained (in the beginning) nearly the same as doctors. They move about through Dental school, which is slightly less rigorous than medical school, and can start to practice on their own fairly quickly compared to medical doctors. There are some sub-specialties like orthodontics and oral surgeons, and the settle up can be as good as you want to make it (provided you own a practice and it does well). The lifestyle of a dentist is pretty great though, you are your own boss and it's pretty laid back.

Paramedic: I don't know much something like it, but I know that the training is far less extensive than a doctor or a dentist. Paramedics (I would assume) have a pretty hectic work life, but I would guess they work run of the mill hours. They are responsible for stabilizing patients to the best of their ability while transporting them from where they are to the hospital. The pay isn't great, but it's something.
Paramedic pay envelope: Up to 30K

Dentist up to 100K

Doctor( consultant surgeon etc) Sky is the limit.
You dont say where you are or how your qualifications are going. To do Med or Dentistry you want at least 2 A's and 1 B at A level plus pass the trial evam aimed at medical candidates. Not sure about paramedic requirements. If us are not in uk after think top 1 or 2% get to med school.
Big Casualty devotee are we?

The best one is the career which interests you the most. The one which you can picture yourself working as.

- You could try work experience.
- Talk to your own dentist about their field.
- Talk to a paramedic or doctor roughly their career.

It can only help, right luck. :-)
