Can I thieve Synthroid AND Simvastatin at equal time respectively sunshine? I would simply close to to hear from MD's please.?
Answers:
I am a pharmacy student. Simvastatin should be taken at night because it doesn't last long in the body and you formulate most of your cholesterol at night, so it works best if you take it before bed.
Pharmacists utter to take levothyroxine (Synthroid) in the morning before intake because food can decrease the absorption of the drug, making it less effectual. Since it stimulates your metabolism, taking it before bed may keep you up. There is no adverse drug interaction between the two, and I found an article online stating that taking synthroid at night may be beneficial, so have a feeling free to take them both at bedtime if you like.

Don't see why not. Simvastatin is usually prescribed to be taken at bedtime. Synthroid is prescribed to be taken daily--people usually take it in the morning, but it shouldn't make any difference if you embezzle it at a different time. I can't imagine there would be any sort of interaction between the meds in your stomach if you took them at one and the same time.
You asked for MDs' opinions, but really the person you should be asking is a pharmacist.
