YES!! i mean because when you concentrate on how bleak it hurts you THINK it hurts a lot worse than it really does. So i would just forget about it and stir on with what i was doing unless it begins to swell and if you can not bend your finger for example it may be broken and you would own to go see a doctor.

Oh entirely! And many would agree. For example, sometimes I'll get scratched and won't even know it...but when I realize it, it starts to hurt all of a sudden...because very soon I am aware.

i have see people do alo of stuff seriously injured when in a state of high stress. the brain drowns it out near adrenaline when your body goes into fight or flight mode...
if you have a torn muscle or a broken bone the spasm is worse if you focus on it imo... but in a lot of cases the pain seem more dull when your mind is racing over something else. some examples are running from someone shooting at you or fighting off attackers
im not sure if you can brand it hurt more by thinking bout it but the brain can trick you into believing its still hurt after it has healed.
