Answers:
Veins carry blood to the heart
Arteries carry blood away from the heart
The heart pump blood to the lungs through the pulmonary artery. This blood have no oxygen in it. In the lungs it passes into capillaries which cover the alveoli (these are grape close to sacs in the lungs used for gas exchange). Oxygen passes into the blood, and carbon dioxide pass from the blood into the lungs and is exhaled.
The oxygenated blood is carried from the lungs, back to the heart in the pulmonary vein, and is afterwards pumped to the body.
