Why did Bush KEEP the morning after pill from self sold over the Counter?
The Morning after pill was approved by the FDA for seventeen year olds over the counter by a ruling 24 to 4,,yet the Bush Administration bowed to the Social Conservatives to STOP the approval..They said it was abortion legislation..You can't enjoy it both ways..Either you prevent a pregnancy or abort it.. Morality of some can't be both ways.. Why don't conservatives keep their Religious views for THEMSELVES..It always amazes me when their children catch an unwanted pregnancy,, things change..Prevent it to begin with !!

I don't agree with Bush because the morning after pill DOES NOT work if the egg is already starting to form, so its not approaching an abortion. if it is keeping babies from being killed involuntarily therefor abortions should decrees as you said. i am a christian and i don't believe surrounded by abortions but if it will keep them down then why go against it?
Everyone has their own ability to believe what they want to. To some race it is considered as being a form of abortion because some people believe that as soon as it is conceived it is a human being. Myself individual against abortion agree with his idea because people will treat roughly the power to get the plan B over the counter. I do not think abortions will decrease because you enjoy to take the plan b pill within 72 hours after intercourse for it to have a accident to work and it is also not very cheap.
The morning after pill is a pregnancy preventive.. By not allowing the egg to hug to the uterus wall,,no pregnancy can been achieved..There by preventing a pregnancy..Being that its the morning after up to three days I believe,,the intercourse can not become a pregnancy..Although the pills are pricey,,it eliminates the complications of an unwanted pregnancy,,and an abortion is over three hundred dollars..And next to such a short window,,the pregnancy probability is negligible !! That's interesting...i have a 13 year old daughter and i can see the advantage of have the over the counter pill available will be a safeguard for at least some girls who find themselves pregnant. The thought of abortion is uncomfortable anyway you sugar coat it. Having a safe alternative is really munificent of cool for these young women. Not that i think my little angel is having sex but...but if she's anything like her mother....I don't know why Bush wouldn't want to make it available as soon as possible.

As a side note, adjectives moral views are not necessarily religious, some people come to their own conclusions through rational thought and their own premise of what they discern is right and wrong.
