Could a cow liver be shared near a human who requests a liver?

Just wondering.
Answers:
The risk of rejection would be very high, and there are better alternatives. A human liver is best, as you would expect, but pig livers have been used with some nouns. Pigs are closer to humans (genetically) than cows, and have similar biochemistries.

Research is now going on to create genitically altered pigs to allow their organs to be used without risk of rejection. An infinite supply of organs that could collect thousands of (human) lives.
Technically, you could put a cow liver in a human being, there is zilch that would physically prevent you from doing so. However, it would almost certainly be immediately attacked and destroyed by the immune system of the recipient, making the integral exercise rather pointless.
