About immigration!?
Hi, I am trying to write a13 page research paper about immigration. what will be a good aspect of immigration to research on. I be thinking of immigration and loss of identity within immigrants. any other ideas would be great. gratefulness

Generations of time of war (30 yrs war, Austrian Succession, Spanish Succession, etc.) forced many Europeans, especially Germans, to look for more peaceful places.
When Bismarck ordered all-purpose military conscription, many men sought refuge elsewhere.
More recently, the Hmong individuals coming to the US after the Vietnam War. Very interesting, sometime tragic story.
Another topic might be how religious affiliation preserves identity. I'm thinking of members of the Eastern Orthodox church, the Jewish community, and perhaps the Muslims of whom I know but little.
