Radial pulse put somebody through the mill?
What happens to the rate and pressure of the radial (wrist) pulse after the valsalva manoeuvre (forced expiration after closing glottis)?
And is Cyanosis (bluing of the skin) supposed to occur??
PS: I tried doing it on myself but i keep getting different results. i.e. rate and pressure of wrist pulse increases contained by the first trial and decreases in the next trial. So I don't know which is supposed to transpire. Thanks!
Answers:
