Well not unless you want to run the risk of killing yourself.
If you inject air into your veins you potentially could create an 'air embolism' a bubble of air that travels through your veins. If it reaches your brain or any necessary organ you could kill yourself or give yourself brain damage.
This is why you see doctors / nurses flick the syringe previously they inject you with medication, to get rid of the air bubbles at the discharge point.
This is also why you shouldnt play near high pressure air blowers. You can actually 'push' nouns into your veins through your skin, causing the same problem.
