I do know for a fact that you don't want to go more than a couple days! Does your insurance provider or doctor have an emergency mental form floor? You may also be able to call and ask the doctor to call surrounded by a prescription to your local pharmacy to pick up during your lunch break or something (I have seen docs do that before). Being that you are in this "corner", own you tried taking 1/2 before? That may buy you an extra day. I'm not a doctor by any means but righteous luck to you.
phone up nhs direct, they will be able to tell you if their is a chemist opened over the easter length in the area were you live, some chemist will make a contribution you your medication if you take an old prescription with you, but you will hold to pay lb5 deposit, this will be returned back to you when you take the exotic prescription that you get from your doctor back to the chemist. as I said only a few chemist will do this . right luck x
I am in the US, so I don't know the method things work across the pond. I'll give you the best advice I can.
Find an immediate keeping center or public emergency clinic. Bring your prescription vial so they can see what you are on and that you have been evaluated. They may write you a prescription this once.
Go the the pharmacy/chemist you use and ask if they can loan you a few tablets until you can get a unsullied prescription.
Call your physician's office number and see if they have an emergency contact number for weekends and holidays. Then try that and explain the situation. Source(s): PharmD candidate
I also live in the US and agree with Michelle C's answer.
I have a condition that requires me to rob medication daily. There have been times when I enjoy forgotten to call in a refill for my prescription or my doctor have not gotten back to the pharmacy yet to approve the refill. Most of the time, your pharmacist will front you at tiniest 2 to 3 days doses of your meds until you can get your prescription refilled.
You've got fitting answers so go ahead with what advice you enjoy got. Source(s): Me
Go to your local hospital's A & E department, and explain the situation.
The should be capable of give you a couple of days supply until you can get your script renewed.
