Anti-Depressants? please answer.?
Im gonna start taking anti-depressants. Its my choice.
I was just wondering...
How do they make you consistency?
Do you change?
Side-effects?
I've heard that you don't feel yourself at adjectives. That you throw up. That it gives you a high, then you crash..
Any tips, comments, counsel... anything.

I was only on them for two weeks, but that be enough for me to decide it wasn't for me.
After a few days I did just stop intuition anything. I lost interest in all of my hobbies. I could no longer write any songs/stories. I felt approaching it took away my creativity.
I also had the unsettling side-effects of having Flash Headaches. I would just be sitting contained by class and get a sudden flash of light and pain.
I would push for you to look into all your options before taking any medication for depression. And more importantly where your depression is coming from. I realize just because it wasn't right for me, doesn't mean it can't be right for anybody. It's in recent times that so many people just want the drugs to stash the symptoms of something bigger.

But onto answering the quiz. Different medications have different affects on everyone. Generally though, you might feel tired, submissive and a bit apathetic. Initially it is possible that you will feel a bit sick, this should pass though. Another thing to consider is the dosage. If you find that the medication is making you discern horrible, your sick all the time and you have no motivation, go address to your doctor.
Please keep in mind though, if you feel irregular, find the medication isn't working or want a amend in dosage make sure you talk to your doctor. They hold training and will probably know whats going on in your body a bit better than you do, so listen to their advice. Prozac diminshes your libido. Are you absolutely sure that you obligation anti-depressants? Take them only if you can barely function.
It depends on the brand you take. They are adjectives different for everyone. I took zoloft for quite some time and it made me like a zombie going through life and numb to the world. It might diverge for you. There's also prozac...and other choices. As far as throwing up, I've never heard that as a side affect and is probably rare. Also, high and after crashing? That's absurd. You might have to try a few different kinds but once you do you'll be much happier if you are a depressed personage it'll just take time to get the right dosage and brand. Sometimes relatives get lucky and get it right the first time! Hopefully that'll be you!
First of all, congratulations on taking the first step to feeling better. If your dose is right and the drug is right, then adjectives you typically feel is better. But, that CAN be tricky sometimes. Sometimes it takes a few tries to find the best one that works for you and sometimes the dose has to be accustomed. But, when you find the right combination of drug and dose then you will feel fine. Im not talking nearly feeling "high" or anything, but you will feel and function more "normally".
If they make you quality like a "zombie" as someone else mentioned, then it is obvious that you are on the wrong medication or at too illustrious of a dose. If they make you sick, then you will need to try another one as okay.
Some side-effects that you MAY experience: headache, nausea, decreased libido (but if you are really depressed it will be decreased anyway), a funny one with Paxil is that it make some people yawn a lot for the first couple of weeks that they are on it.
