Abdominal Muscle Splitting?

I am 22 years old. I have partial gastrectomy about a year and a partly ago. The surgeon has made an incision from my bellybutton up to my chest bone. Recently, I was palpating my abdomen and enjoy noticed that my abdominal muscle has splited (just above my bellybutton). The split is approximately 6 cm in length. I own done some online research about 'abdominal muscle splitting'. Many websites has stated that this is a very adjectives condition among pregnant women, especially in their second- and tri-semester. And it should only be a concern when the width reach approximately two and a half of the index fingers. Mine is approximately one and a half. Many website has also stated that this could be treated next to abdominal strengthen exercise and usually does not requires surgery. Now I am very worry because I really do not have another operation.

What can I do to prevent the splitting worsen?
Do abdominal strengthen exercise work within my situation?
Will it affect my future pregnancy?

Any answers is appreciated.
Answers:
This sounds like diastasis of the rectus abdominis muscle and as much as I wouldn't want surgery in your situation any, sometimes it just might be appropriate. With these things (weakening of the anterior chest wall), portions of your gut may get trapped as they herniate and lead to small bowel obstruction which can be life-threatening. You really need a consultation with a general surgeon to determine what is the most appropriate course of dream therapy for you at this time. I urge you to have this taken care of at your earliest opportunity.

I wish you okay.
