Pleas explain the difference of Vasopressin(ADH) and Aldosterone, I know they come from different glands but..?
they have similar function.... regulation of mineral and water, I need to know what so one and only about each hormone.
thank you for answering (",)
Answers:
ADH is released from the brain (posterior pituitary).
Aldosteron is made in the adrenal gland.
As mentioned above , aldosteron is a steroid en ADH is a peptide.
They unanimously have the same effect, but ADH regulates body fluid, where Aldosteron regulates electrolyte be a foil for (I think it was like this).
-> this little difference can hold opposite effects when your dehydrated or when your kidney is failing.
Good luck with it :d
