I thought there was like a tablets or drug that doctors inject in you or give you that make you forget a tender operation or something like that? Anyone know the name of it?

Although it's not used for affliction control, perhaps you may be thinking of Versed (Midazolam).
Versed. It is in the benzodiazapine family and is normally used in medical procedures and surgeries because it induces deep sedation with memory loss of the procedure. It is merely available in IV form.
