Is Tums Dual Action, Esentially the Same as Pepcid Complete?

Really pesky to find the product's site. It be drowning in sites just wanting to blindly sell ya the stuff, citing "proven" ingredients. I parsimonious, the product's site is no exception, but at least there was a knit to "ingredients" --active and inactive. But, gawd, when will purveyors and marketers catch on that "proven" means NOTHING irrefutable. It's just a bunch of bull; supposed to *sound* scientific and authoritative, I reckon, but, I mean, it scream LIE to anyone who has read a real empirical journal article. Anyway, *rolling eyes*....
Is some commercial pitting one against the other, by any break, claiming one is better? It wouldn't surprise my skeptical-self, one little bit ;-).
EDIT: *Very* shocking. But, these are relatively new products, yes? Maybe just in my country. I speak, just give it some time and one will take over as the foreign "Activia" has all other yogurt. Another farce ;-).
EDIT 2: Oh, had no concept. Hmmm, well, then, not sure what is so "new" about Tums, after. Frick. Only, the name, the company making it, and inactive ingredients? Maybe "dual action" will catch more citizens than "complete".
Too bad many new drugs aren't really modern, anymore.
EDIT 3: Yup, what a bunch of crap. Too bad, too, you know? You can envision people with GI sxs trying this, given it IS bright. Unknowingly wasting their money, *hoping* to feel relief.
"Tums" evidently wants a piece of the "Pepcid" pie, but they are misleading and ripping family off, with their greedy actions.

Both have an antacid and an acid secretion reducer, like ranitadine or such.
These drugs are moderately potent, but have various drawbacks.
A male on these drugs for any serious time of time can suffer erectile disfunction, and females can experience trouble with water consumption, electrolytes, and water retention. You also involve, both sexes, to worry about liver and kidney function.
These are serious matters, single to be overlooked if MAJOR pain and esophageal problems from stomach acid are present.
Otherwise, it's not worth it.
Prilosec and Nexium are slightly better but still have these drawbacks.
EDIT: These are from a LONG TERM point of scene - if you're just taking it for a one-shot upset stomach reliever, no problem.
