How outmoded do you hold to be to volenteer at a hosptal?
I want to go into medicine and to help my application I would approaching to do some volunteeringat a local hospital or ppractiseto help my application to med school in 2 years. I am individual 15 but its my 16th in a few months... can I still do it or do you have to be 18? If so what would it involve?
Answers:
I'm 13 and the hospital i want to volunteer at you need to be at most minuscule 14 but to volunteer with patient contacts, you need to be 16.
Actually it's 16 the usual. However some hospitals hold strict over 18 policies. Mine doesn't, and the one I worked at aged 16 didn't.
You might just be a tealady/teaboy but it's still hospital experience. Source(s): experience
18, and have a full police check
so you cant do it yet
You hold to be 16 to volunteer at a hospital. Source(s): My friend volunteered at a hospital last summer and she was 16 at the time.
In the UK, at least 16. I would think at least18 if you want to certainly be involved in any patient care (health meticulousness assistant etc). Best advise is to concentrate on getting good GCSE + A-level grades and perhaps volunteer at a hospital during the holidays? Source(s): Registered Nurse
it would lend a hand if you told us where you live. people from all over the world use yahoo. here surrounded by canada, its 16. for people who say its 18, maybe that's the norm within the u.s.
Usually you have to be 16.
18; Legally an adult (in the US) and intervene a background check
