Medical profession that's also upright for home existence?
I'm a very responsible individual who takes work very instinctively. But I also want to have enough spare time to spend on my family (when I own it). My question is: in which medical profession will I be able to slake both my family and job requirements?
Answers:
Become a nurse. It's medicine, you will more than likely hold set hours, and you won't have the longer years in school for a doctor, or the time away from your kinfolk. Source(s): *Nursing Student
Be a pharmacist. Pharmacists have a great job outlook and can recurrently choose in which locale they would like to work. Also, pharmacists are able to work anywhere from fragment time to full time without any significant pay changes. This course you'd still be helping people in a medical profession while being competent to devote time to your loved ones.
nurse or general practitier/family doctor.
Physician's Assistant.
You'd have the same knowledge and responsibilities as a doctor. You'd be doing equal things. But you would also have scheduled hours of work and less years of schooling (more time for family). The downside is that you would earn smaller number, but money isn't happiness right?

depends on how smart you are and whether or not you are a good student. a smart person perpared to work hard for a couple or three years can become a doctor. more respect and money as a doctor. much easier to become a pharmacist but much smaller amount money but, still, you have to learn a lot and it is not that unproblematic. something to do that pays much less but is much easier is practical nurse. it all depends on how smart you think you are and how you hold learned to really buckle down and study. how were your grades so far? grades are a very apposite indicator.

I'm currently in medical arts school and of course there are myths and rumors about an assortment of fields. The trend for the past 10 years or so has to become incredibly specialized. Dermatology is markedly a field where you have more free time that others; however, this does not expect that it is an easy field to get into. In certainty it is rather competitive as are the other so called "good life" specialties (optho, radiology). You really call for to be on top your game and pretty much a gunner from the getgo since you need to have top board score, definitely research (preferrably some first author ones), and kick *** in your clinical rotations 3/4th year.
So vitally I truly do not believe that there are easy routes but the there are field that will ultimately leave you with more time (even if that means really slaving away to bring there). Also, academic medicine can give you some more free time but give you more responsibilities as well.
