What equipment do I want to allow a makeshift workstation to detect EMG signals?

I want to be able to detect EMG from skin level. I do not need to weigh the EMG, I simply want my pc to say "yes, there's activity" or "no activity". To complicate things, the system must be able to detect reading from at least 12 sensors and it needs a compact size. I hope someone can direct me to a site that sells what I call for.
