Doctor's are always "on call"... You may be doing 12 hr shifts, may be rushing to ER contained by middle of the night for one of your patients, if you are not physically at the hospital you may be on-call... Family practice is a lot more demanding, but it's a better lifestyle as well..

Family Practice = $150,000 - $400,000+ (depending the size of the city and your report next to the clients)
