Doctors Role surrounded by Society?
Do we make Medical Doctors into Gods in our society, and if so...do they belong there?

I dont regard as we make them into Gods, and no they do not belong there but they do deserve a very soaring amount of credit and respect for what they do on a daily basis. They have get alot of training and have gone to school for a very long time to set free the lives of people. They go to work everyday and work an immese amount of hours and they help family every second they are at work. Whether it is through liufe saving surgery or just working in a ancestral practice diagnosing people every day. My fiancee is a doctor and I see what he does every day and when he comes home everyday after workinf for 12 hours sometimes 24 hours straight he is intensely satisfied and he knows that he helped some family during the day. I know that doctors do get paid very well but they really do alot for our society. I also believe that police officers, firefighters and EMT's deserve that same respect because they keep the world safe for us to live contained by it. So doctors are not the only ones that deserve that amount of respect.
I know a few older physicians who thought an MD degree admitted them to the Pantheon. If a segment of the common public fell for it, they were rather disparaged by most peers.
Although you wouldn't know it from the garbage sitcoms, most folks in real life retain more than a modicum of civility. They own an innate tendency to treat people with respect, especially those who hold worked hard to get where they are, trademark an effort to hold themselves to high standards, and give of themselves even at inconvenient times. Most doctors appreciate this respect, even if it is unspoken.

Sorry. You clearly have NO idea what the job is approaching. We are pawns of the insurance industry. We train for a decade and then have elevated school dropouts with Internet access try to tell us how to do our job. We work long hours. We get called away from our families to accommodate other people's requirements.
