Spleen disorders difference?

Splenomegaly and hypersplenism. Is there a difference between these two idioms?
Answers:
Splenomegaly is one of the four cardinal signs of hypersplenism, the other three being cytopenia(s), usual or hyperplastic bone marrow, and a response to splenectomy.

Oh, and they are medical terms, not idioms.
