Should i save taking iron and b12?

I got my lab results back from my doctor and i was told that my iron and b12 are at ordinary levels. It could be because Ive been taking iron and b12 supplements. She also told me I'm a little anemic. If I stop taking B12 and iron, will they stay contained by the normal levels, even though I'm anemic?
Answers:
did you mention any of this to your doctor, because s/he would be a better person to ask.
Stop taking them, and don't pilfer them again unless they are prescribed as the result of proven deficiencies. Without knowing the cause of an anemia, the correct treatment can't be determined. You may need more trialling to determine the cause of the anemia. These are questions for your doctor to answer. Source(s): RN
