Can you own lasik surgery to engineer yourself myopic, even if you own 20/20?

Sort of goes against the whole idea of "do no mar." No ophthalmologist who would do it should be trusted to do it.
I doubt you could find a surgeon willing to do it, but it is technically possible. You'd simply add curvature to the cornea like you would for someone who is hyperopic. Source(s): med student
