Is a neuropsychologist an actual position within hospitals? (canada)?

I've been thinking i'd want to be a neurologist for a while, but I find most of my interest of neurlogy is in neuroscience, and how behaviour can be reflect by whats visibly going on in the brain. If I understand correctly this is neither neurology (focusing on disorders of the nervous system) or psychiatry (focusing on mental disorders cause by behavioural and mood disorders).

I think neuropsychology would be perfect for me, but is it an ACTUAL position at a hospital, or just a area of study in science?
Answers:
I cannot tell you about what happen in Canada with socialized medicine, but contained by the US, I know several neuropsychologists who hold clinical appointments in hospitals and who are in private practice. They evaluate head injured patients to determine smooth of functioning and provide treatment, often with a learning specialist. Their training requires a amount in clinical psychology with additional training within neuroscience (encompassing neurology, neurophysiology, and related courses) usually obtained during part of a post-doctoral internship.
