Behavioral Side Effects of Vicodin?

My doctor just wrote me a script on Monday for vicodin for my severe pelvic pain. This is the first time I've ever been on it. I've be only taking it once a day. I believe it is 500 mg. Now, my friend who is around all me most of the sunshine says when I take it, I turn into an asshole. I am normally a nice, friendly, unmoved, genteel person. Is this a side effect of the vicodin? I am 26 years old...or am I just getting stingy contained by my old age? Thanks.

vicodin doesn't change anyone into an asshole. she is jealous because she can't hold any.
