Muscles and Nerves within the Head and Neck?
Went to the ER with eye pain, neck strain. Had a CT scan and all was normal. Now from the top of my nouns to the top of my head on my left side hurts. It's a shooting pain when I move around, from the nouns to the top of the head. When I put pressure on the top of my head or on the base of my décolletage it eases the pain. The thing is, it hurts to move side to side or up and down as if I've pulled a muscle.
Is nearby a muscle or nerve here that would cause pain similar to this?

However, if headaches close to this are new to you then you should continue to pursue an answer next to a Neurologist as there are a number of important acute diagnoses that own potential for rapid deterioration and they are often missed in the ER. These include:
Carotid dissection
Threatened aneurysmal rupture
Temporal arteriits (esp. if you are > 50 years old)
Most potential this is a more standard headache syndrome (common things being common). Cluster headaches are possible but the history is not yet more than ever convincing.
