Question in connection with my cramp med, can this be possible?
To make a long story short, I have taken the same combo of cramp meds for over a year, for nerve damage. At first they made me " stoned" but now I am use to them.
However, I run out of one a few days ago and had it refilled. Since then I hold been "stoned" and sleepy. This is the same does and the same med I enjoy always taken.
My question is probalby stupid, but is it possible that maybe this is a "fresh" load of this med and is more potent? Could the drugstore have switched brand names or given me the wrong me. It looks the same but it also looks similar to my husbands lortabs. Could thay have screwed up or could it be , like I said a "fresh" batch?

Just call phone call the pharmacist and ask
especially odd...have u been gettin the generic and this is the brand autograph med. there has been proof lately that some generics are inferior esp. the oxycodones...if i be u i would go to the pharmacy and show the pharmatrist this med to make sure they gave u the correct one...i.e. if u are worried.
good luck ...let us know

I'd direct your interview to a pharmacist who can identify the meds by looking at the tablets. You described taking a 'holiday' from your meds when you ran out. Usually pain meds don't give such a potent effect after such a short holiday. The prevalent med that causes the sleepiness you describe and has a renewed effect after such a holiday is for anxiety, not pain per se. That med is from the Valium home (Xanax, Ativan, etc) and most of their generic names end in "zepam". Although we'd approaching to believe it never happens, mistakes do occur and you may have gotten the wrong med.
