How to distinguish between the smooth muscle tissue and the dense regular C.T beneath the lantern microscope ?

these two types of tissue are confusing me , and tomorrow I have a Histology practice exam at the lab , so any one could help me to distinguish between them , since it is very substantial as I only have 40 seconds to answer two question ............ please
