Do doctor's proceedings tend to be handwritten or typed?

Ya ya ya, I know, its monday and I called in sick... I told my supervisor I'd bring a note. Only sound out left is: are they usually typed up and printed out or hand written, in your experiences?

i'm in large school and i really didn't wanna get up today.
but i'm in typing class right in a minute and i'm bored.
They're repeatedly pre-printed with blanks for the particulars. And I'm one doctor who doesn't mind the concept at all. Only a complete moron of an employer requires doctor's action, and he deserves what he gets from such a policy.
