What is hypodermic shock (in animals)?
i know that hypodermic means under the skin (i thnk)
but how does that link to shock?

Do you show maybe Hypovolaemic shock? Thats from not getting enough blood or oxygen etc.
My guess is that it is supposed to read hypoTHERmic shock, i.e. shock resulting from decrease in body temperature.
You are correct - hypodermic - beneath the dermis or skin.
There is no "hypodermic" shock in people or animals.
