Have you ever researched your medication for side effects?

I was feeling so lousy, (extreme back agony, no energy, eye irritation, some confusion, leg and foot edema). I researched the meds and their side effects and gave Dr a list. but she would not convert any meds. She just said, "all meds have side effects".

On my own, I stopped taking most and next added, back, one at a time. I have been keeping a record about what I do and how I feel, my blood sugar and high blood pressure. It is amazing. I found it be not a crushed disk that was causing my back cramp. That was not one of the side effects I was expecting.

Yes the crushed disk is there, but when I stopped one of the blood pressure meds, the wager on pain stopped. My legs ache, but I am sure I could keep walking if it be not for the leg ache.
Answers:
You should get a list of side effects when you seize the prescription filled. If not, you can always google it. Tell your quack about the problem. She should switch you to a different type of BP med. If not, find a hot quack.

I'm going through something similar with another med. I expect that when I see my quack next, he will either decrease the dose I am taking or tell me to quit it altogether on a trial basis.
