There are deeply of unanswered questions about diet and its effect on the body. I would speculate that masses different foods cause many subtle reactions within different people. The immune system is complex, and not completely well understood.

However, I do not know of any foods however associated with nightmares, specifically. Even if there was a relationship, the stimulus would probably vary from person to person.

I would scheme to say that irregular blood sugar is probably one of the most common and direct biological causes of poor sleep. Eating plentifully of sugar of simple carbs before bed could possibly contribute to bad dreams.
as far as i know, nightmares is dangerous because it if truth be told shows that there is something wrong with your liver. According to some, noodles can cause nightmares because noodles absorb a lot of water thus dehydrating your body and cause liver fault.

try an experiment of putting a whole pack of noodles in a bowl of water. exit it for 30 mins and see what happens.
