Taking two oneaday multivitamins by coincidence?

I know you pee most of them out. But are any of these harmful in anyway if consumed to much of?

You do not want to consume too much iron contained by a short time (it can kill you) but just two each day multivitams will NOT harm you in any way.

sometimes taking more vitamins than u need is actually worse than not getting them. i cant mull over of any specific examples off the top of my head now but i know that they effect some body pathway that cause damage....vit. B rings a bell but i dont know what for...sori..

Taking two by accident is not going to hurt you. The amount of respectively ingredient on most multivitamins is not as high as people think. For example, conceivably your vitamins provide 100% vitamin C which means it provides 60mg of Vitamin C while many vitamin C tablets have 500mg of it. So if it be by accident it's ok (it can be dangerous if it happens to children). Do not pocket two tablets unless recommended by a physician. Source(s): I'm a pharmacist.
