Cardiology = 3 years internal medicine residency + 2 year fellowship = 5 years higher than the 4 of medical school (9 years after college)
Surgery (depends on which type) = 4 years of medical school followed by 5 to 7 years of residency (9 to 12 years after college)
Pediatrics = 3 years after medical school (7 years after college)

They all take more or less the same time as, just speaking in common, you have to study a lot of the same stuff. Its the training within the specialty that really makes you one or the other kind of doctor -- unless of course you get hold of a degree specifically in one of those kind of field. 6-8 years, maybe more, depending on what kind of credits you already have and can verbs and which medical school you go to. I suggest you start out at a community college first and get lots of credits within nursing, biology, heath science, chemistry, and physics. That will really speed things up and it should only take two years at most. Maybe smaller amount if you take 4 or more classes a quarter and very few pre-reqs. if you study a language at this community college you could study Spanish or sign oral communication -- maybe both.
