I've been taking paxil for over 2 years now for anxiety. I wasn't able to afford my restock this month so i decided to just wait it out and see if i can stay past its sell-by date of them. I have been getting dizzy spells and heart palpitations. Is it normal? What else do i inevitability to be aware of?

I've been on Paxil for 3 years and am trying to titrate down and wean off. After taking 20 mg every other day for a week I experienced dizziness and go back to 20 mg every day. I spoke to my doctor who said to try dropping down to 10 mg every day, later every other day. Basically, your symptoms are from stopping your meds. Talk to your doctor to see if they have samples available since you can't afford a prescription.
